Courses will include all meals and accommodation and a staffed programme of activities agreed in advance.
Courses are tailor made to suit each individual group's aims, ages, physical abilities and interests.
A Booking Form and Conditions can be downloaded from our downloads area.
Multi-Activity Courses At Low Mill we have a huge range of activities that can be programmed into your stay, all of which can be viewed on the Activities area of this web site. Some of these activities can be used for either half a day, or a whole day with a packed lunch. Caving and climbing are particularly good as a whole day activity, as more variety of caves or climbs can be completed, as well as more skills and technique learnt.
Environmental and Countryside Studies We have a range of environmental sessions, which can include Earth Education, Stream Studies, Bird Watching, Plant and Tree Identification and other Field Studies. We can also organise visits to local farms, museums and castles.
Team Building Exercises and Games We have a number of exercises including Raft Building which can be incorporated into courses or can be the basis of the whole course, including management training and adventure courses for colleges. We also have a wide selection of indoor and outdoor games that we can use for all ages and abilities.
Disabilities and Special Needs The centre's staff are used to working with a wide variety of groups of people with disabilities and special needs, and for wheelchair users there is access to all facilities and special dormitory provision in the Wing.
Adult Groups and Family Groups Most of our work is with groups of young people but we can also cater for adult groups and family groups including single parent families.
We reserve the right to alter the activities programme due to circumstances beyond our control.
