An evening activity can normally be organised by a member of Low Mill staff every night except Wednesday.
The evening activities can range from night walks, challenges and quizzes, talent shows and camp fires, and are run from 7pm to 9pm. There is also a small tuck and souvenir shop that can opened in the evenings for your group to use. The tuck shop sells souvenirs ranging from pencils at 25p to t-shirts at £7.50 and a small selection of chocolate, sweets and drinks.
Our night drops are a very popular choice of evening activity, and involve being dropped off on a walking route near Askrigg for an hour long walk in the countryside. These night walks are remotely monitored by your instructor, with check points along the route of the walk.
Camp fires are weather dependent. They are a great option for a Thursday night before leaving on the Friday. The camp fire can include hot chocolate and marshmallows toasted on the open fire!
We can also provide many different indoor evening activities for poorer weather days, such as quizzes and scavenger hunts.
